Nearing the end of May

As we near the end of May, already, I wonder where the time has gone. I was going to start to lose weight by now… I was going to find a new job by now… I was going to fix up the house by now… I was going to…. Well… procrastinate! … I’m good at that!

This month started out with a bang and now it’s Victoria Day and I’m relaxing. The next 2 weeks or so are going to be he!! at work: traveling and being away from Hubby and puppy. I hate that. I am SUCH a homebody now that I’m older. Our favorite past time is curling up and watching cartoons on a rainy weekend day, then napping. Napping is good. It should be a part of everyone’s day! If I were Prime Minister… Tehee.

The Queen was in Jasper this weekend and I so wanted to go see her. She wanted to relax without too much around her and I really don’t blame her. She did pick the most beautiful part of the world for a vacation. No, I didn’t go. I respected her quiet time.

I planted flowers and cleaned the house. Hubby mowed the lawn and relaxed. Life is way too short not to enjoy gardening and relaxing: flowers are like poetry for your soul.
