Family Day - Feb 20
We have a holiday in Alberta called FAMILY DAY…
Not everyone gets it off…. But it is really nice to have in the middle of a long, drawn out winter.
I think it should be a national holiday.
Thoughts?

Damn straight. It's barbaric not to have a stat between New Years and Easter. We always take a day off in February so we get a wee long weekend. Oh, and because I work for a progressive feminist organization, we get International Women's Day off on March 8th. But I'm usually busy doing fundraising events, so it's not so much a holiday as it is a chance to do some volunteering. Yes, a February holiday would be grand!
I wonder how we can set this on to the big boys in Ottawa?
